The new Planmeca Intra X-ray unit maximises the diagnostic value of all intraoral radiography techniques and produces exceptionally clear images with outstanding sharpness and maximum detail.

Planmeca Intra provides full control of the imaging parameters (kV, mA, time) thus guaranteeing optimal images for different anatomical conditions and image receptors.

Planmeca Intra's versatile features allow the use of all modern imaging systems including digital sensor, imaging plate and high-speed film.
Diagnostic Quality
Any contrast and density needs can be met with the variable kV setting (50-70 kV). Adjustable mA (2-8mA) guarantees full dose reduction benefit of the modern digital image receptors and high-speed films.
Advance Technology
The constant potential X-ray generator improves contrast, has absolute reproducibility and is not affected by line voltage fluctuations.
Patient Security
The very high frequency operated constant potential
X-ray generator reduces patient dosage up to 25% compared to conventional AC generators.

 

Image Clarity
Planmeca Intra can be used for both bisecting angle and parallel techniques. The optional long cone reduces unwanted penumbra shadow and enhances image quality.
